Ian Thomson / Publicity

Ian is a highly experienced, strategic film and TV publicist who has worked with some of the world's most exciting filmmakers including Danny Boyle, Kevin Macdonald and Ridley Scott.

He has more than 16 years experience managing the PR for top professionals and companies in the entertainment industry. Before launching his own consultancy McAinsh Consulting in 2007, Ian previously set up DDA Consulting. Prior to that, Ian spent five years with the UK Film Council, where he was the organisation's publicist from its inception in 2000. He began his film career working at Samuelson Productions in the 1990s.
